Surrounded by majestic trees of differing greens, and a timeless landscape stretching into the distance, Gaunts is naturally beautiful and peaceful. One hears the birdsong, the cooing of pigeons. Roe deer come and nibble the roses of an early morning. The energy of the intention – see the Charter – which has lived here for a generation, has become part of the fabric: one can feel it. The people here are friendly and helpful; we live as some sort of extended family. The ambience, embraces one on entering; some say they feel it from miles away.
It provides a safe sanctuary for events, workshops and education that resonate with their ethos and Charter (created in 1989).
On the extensive grounds, there is an outdoor swimming pool for visitors use, a fire pit where a fire will be lit in the evenings, quiet rooms, a library from which visitors may borrow books during their stay, an organic walled garden, a jogging route and beautiful woodland in which to stroll, relax and integrate the work you are doing at Breathe.
